Great news: two members of the Haesler lab obtained a postdoctoral fellowship from FWO, the Flemish Research Foundation!

Cagatay Aydin obtained a junior postdoc fellowship for his project on the neural representation of self and others. Kacper Kondrakiewicz did as well, for his project proposal to study sensory pathways for signaling novel stimuli to dopamine neurons. Kacper will start as a postdoc in the Haesler lab this fall.

Marie Mulier, who is a postdoc at the Voets lab at the VIB-KU Leuven Center for Brain & Disease Research, was also awarded with a grant for a collaborative project together with the Urban lab. Marie will use fUSI to study pain circuits.

Congratulations to all awardees!
