This symposium is organized as a satellite event on the occasion of one year anniversary of the RIKEN Europe Office. The main objective is to strengthen academic networks between RIKEN and NERF, KU Leuven, VIB and imec as well as other research institutes in Belgium and Europe.

After the talks, we will have a short networking reception. Poster presentations by participants are also planned to enhance networking opportunities.
