To introduce NERF to the international neuro-science & engineering community and to further detail the research agenda of NERF, a launch meeting was organized at imec in Leuven on October 29, 2009. The launch event was a closed workshop with about 130 experts in the fields relevant for NERF. The program has attracted an overwhelming list of high caliber speakers.
